Made Strong. Made Whole.

Meet Kenzie

I'm Kenzie Damm, a registered dietitian who lifts. The fitness industry keeps splitting nutrition and training in two. I built Sozo Wellness to treat them as one thing, and I am qualified in both.

How I got here

I studied dietetics at Indiana University. That is where I found strength training, working with college athletes on performance nutrition. After my internship I worked as a clinical dietitian at Riley Children's Hospital. Then I started my own practice here in Denver.

I am also certified in pre and postnatal fitness. Supporting women through pregnancy and early motherhood is the part of this work I love most.

My approach is built on strength and on habits you can keep. Movement should help you live well for a long time. It should feel good, and it should be something you enjoy rather than something you have to do. Fitness should be a life you look forward to, not a box to check.

Outside of client work I am up early, in the gym or outside, with my dog Louie, or cooking something worth writing down.

The name

The meaning of Sozo

Sozo is a Greek word. It means to save, heal, deliver and make whole: every part of who you are, not just one piece.

I believe you have already been made strong and made whole. My job is to walk beside you while you learn to live it out. The name and the tagline both come from my Christian faith, and they are the heart behind how I coach.

You do not have to share that faith to work with me. Plenty of my clients do not. It just explains where the name came from.

The team

Sozo Wellness is my practice, supported by two people who bring the parts I do not.
