Trained by someone who can also read your labs
Most trainers can write you a good program. Very few are also credentialed to read your bloodwork and your glucose data, then adjust your nutrition to match what the training is asking of your body.
That matters most when progress stalls. If you are training hard and not recovering, or lifting consistently and not getting stronger, the answer is often not more volume. It is somewhere in your fuelling, your sleep or your labs. Having one person who can look at all of it saves a lot of guessing.
See nutrition counseling, or ask about combining both on the free call.

Where training happens
In-person sessions run at Commit Fitness, which has locations in Washington Park and LoHi. It is a studio gym with racks, bumper plates, TRX and plyo boxes. It is also small enough that you are not queueing for equipment.
Virtual sessions and the 12-week programs work around what you actually have. A full gym, a garage setup, or a set of dumbbells and a bench.
And no, lifting heavy will not make you bulky
It is the single most common worry women bring to a first session, and it is not what happens. Progressive strength work builds the kind of strength that makes ordinary life easier, supports bone density, and helps you hold on to muscle as you get older. I train this way myself and coach most of my clients this way. You are more capable than you think.

Common questions
Where do sessions take place?
In-person training happens at Commit Fitness, which has locations in Washington Park and LoHi in Denver. Sessions can also run virtually. The 12-week programs are built around whatever equipment you actually have, from a full gym to a set of dumbbells at home.
Will lifting heavy make me bulky?
No. This is the most common worry women bring to a first session and it is not what happens. Progressive strength training builds the kind of strength that makes daily life easier, supports bone density, and helps you hold on to muscle as you age. I train this way myself and coach most of my clients this way.
What if I am completely new to the gym?
That is a common starting point. Sessions begin with movement basics and proper form, then add load as you are ready. Programming is adjusted around injuries, back issues, hormones, stress and how much sleep you actually got. Clients range from their twenties to their seventies.
How is this different from a workout app?
An app cannot see your form, does not know about your shoulder, and does not change the plan when your week falls apart. Working with a trainer means real-time correction, programming that adapts, and someone who notices when something is not working. I am also a registered dietitian, so the nutrition side is handled by the same person rather than being someone else's problem.
Do I need to buy nutrition coaching too?
No. Training and nutrition are sold separately and plenty of clients do only one. The advantage of having both under one roof is simple. If you want them to work together, one person designs both.
